Damage Security Deposit Policy: Damage security deposit can be either in cash or just a $750 check placed in an envelope labeled to your return address. Rest assured, your check will not be endorsed. It will be returned to you by mail after your departure, once we check the cottage.

Your Security Deposit check is the last thing we want to touch !

Cancellation Policy: Please note that once you make a reservation we expect a 50% payment deposit, after which we will change the colors on our calendar and we will refuse all future clients for that period.  If you cancel your reservation for any reason, we will make that period available for rent and we will try to rent it as best we can. If that period is rented again, then we will refund your 50% reservation deposit. If we can not rent that period, we will both share the loss equally, therefore your 50% reservation will not be refunded. You will lose your 50% deposit and we will lose 50% of the balance because that period remained vacant. In case of cancelation, your damage security deposit ($750) will always be returned to you.
